Corsham Peacocks is a limited edition Lino print with acrylic paint added. Our little town was lucky enough to get funding to support conversion of our old primary school into an arts centre, now know as Pound Arts. This print is based on a gate in the old playground. Peacocks are important in Corsham, they were introduced to Corsham Court by one of the Lord Methuens and now roam freely around the town.
Width 15 cm
Height 20 cm
Edition Size 5
This print was made by marking the reversed image of the scene onto a block of Lino, carving away where I wanted the image to remain white and where I wanted to add watercolour, and then printing the main colour. Once the ink had dried I added the archival ink and the watercolour paint.
The image was printed with Schmincke water based ink on 250 GSM Bristol Board. It is sold in a black mount and the print will be securely packaged and dispatched through Royal Mail.
Please be aware that the colours may vary slightly as the monitor may not portray it accurately.
